Welcome! We look forward to seeing you at Remedy Life Church! From start to finish, we strive to make your families’ time with us a great experience! We seek to make this your child’s favorite day of the week. We use skilled volunteers, technology, fun activities, and excellent environments to communicate the timeless knowledge of our loving God. We believe this makes Remedy Life Kids Church a place your child will be begging you to bring them back to each week! Our staff and volunteers work hard to create a safe and meaningful class experience. To make Sunday morning a success we suggest that that you arrive 30 minutes early to check your child in, meet the teachers, and get your coffee. Our desire is to partner with parents to help raise up their kids to have a strong relationship with Jesus. Each week we teach kids about God’s love and show them that God has big plans for their lives.

At Remedy Life Church, we’re not just babysitting. We want parents to feel confident that their child will be ministered to while in the nursery. Your child will leave the nursery having had a touch from God. We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment, allowing us to teach babies and toddlers that God loves them, made them, and of Jesus who wants to be their friend forever.
We know that leaving your new baby for the first time can be overwhelming. The volunteers in our infant classrooms have been chosen for this age group because of their love for babies and their training to care for all of the needs of your infant. We hope that the following information will help you and your baby have a great experience on Sunday morning. Please bring diapers, bottles, pacifiers, and any special blankets that will soothe your baby through the morning. Label all items with any details concerning feeding and napping schedules. To ensure that your babies receive the best care, we adhere to a one volunteer to every three children ratio in our nursery.

This is a fun and active stage in your children’s lives. We are excited to have them and look forward to teaching them that God loves them, God made them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever. Our curriculum is centered on these three basic truths. Every week your children will learn a Bible story that will help them understand the key truth for the month.
Your toddlers and two-year-olds will also participate in many age- appropriate, creative activities throughout the morning with plenty of flexibility for the normal needs of toddlers and two-year-olds. We believe in an active, hands-on approach with our kids, so be on the lookout for those fun projects! We provide toys, activities, and snacks in the classrooms. We usually serve Animal Crackers, Goldfish or Cheerios. When we are serving something new, you will see a note posted on the door of the classroom. If your children have any allergies or special dietary needs and cannot eat what we have provided, please inform the teachers.
We believe that it is our responsibility to introduce preschoolers and kindergartners to God. So before they leave, we want them to know: God loves me, God made me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever. Every month we focus on these three basic truths. Each week your children will learn a Bible story and participate in fun, creative activities that teach the one key truth for the month. If you would like to know what your children are learning, please pick up the Parent Cue Cards from the greeters. You are the best teacher for your children, so use the activities to talk about God with them all week at home. We want Sunday to be the BEST DAY of your child’s week. The following information will help you understand what the Sunday morning experience is like. In order to create the most ideal teaching environments, we place one volunteer in every classroom for every five children. Your children will be placed in small groups and assigned small group leaders.
Sunday morning is divided into several segments: As soon as they walk in the door, they participate in a MAKE IT FUN activity that is designed to grab their attention. They will then hear a creative presentation of the Bible story and participate in worship, where they are encouraged to sing and dance and interact with their leaders. Following the worship and story time, they will go to their small groups for a brief time to talk about what they’ve learned that day and what it means to their young lives. They will also pray together as we teach them what it means to talk to God. During the last part of their morning, they will participate in several creative, fun activities designed to help them better understand the key truth of the day through a hands-on experience.
Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these three things stick: I need to make wise choices, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated. Our main focus is our small group environment. We want kids to see how God’s word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last.
So what does Sunday look like?
Welcome: Each child is greeted at their classroom by their small group leader. Kids have free play and then participate with their small group in an activity during snack that is meant to introduce the one TRUTH, or bottom line, we want kids to walk away with and remember that morning.
Large Group Environment: Shortly after arriving, kids are moved to their large group environment where they hear the Bible story. We use costumes, props, and characters from the story – anything that makes the Bible come to life. We also carve out time each week for kids to sing as loud as they want and tell God how much they love Him. We have fun interactive games, discussion, and group time.
Small Group Environment: After participating in Large Group, kids travel back to their small group classroom where their leaders help them understand how the day’s bottom line can fit into their everyday life. Small group leaders are serious about having fun with kids and passionate about teaching the TRUTH. We want kids to see how God’s word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last. The Three Basic Truths are amplified through 36 monthly virtues (such as kindness, generosity and faith) and 150 Bible stories. Every week there is a key TRUTH or bottom line that we drive home. It’s the ONE THING we want kids to understand and grab onto during their hour with Remedy Life Kids Church.
